Design is more than what I do—it’s who I am. It’s the lens through which I see the world, a means of turning ideas into something tangible and impactful. With over a decade of experience spanning agency and non-profit environments, I’ve had the privilege of working on everything from websites and logos to magazines and infographics. Every project brings its own challenges, unknowns, and opportunities to create something meaningful, and I thrive in that space.
It’s hard to pinpoint my exact style or medium, and maybe that’s the point. Design is dynamic, ever-changing, and deeply collaborative. What excites me most isn’t the type of project—it’s the people, the process, and the endless possibilities. Whether it’s crafting a complex infographic or refining a logo, I’m always drawn to the moments when an idea takes shape and starts to connect with people.
But design isn’t my only creative outlet. I’ve been playing drums for over 25 years and currently perform in a local cover band, playing rock, punk, and alternative hits from the 80s through the 2000s. There’s something about the rhythm of music that carries over into my approach to design: the balance between structure and improvisation, the need for collaboration, and the energy it takes to create something that resonates.
I’m also passionate about traveling—exploring new places, absorbing the colors, sounds, and stories of different cultures. Whether it’s the vibrant energy of Mexico, the calming greens of Ireland, or the sunny nostalgia of Southern California, every trip has shaped how I see the world and inspires how I approach my work.
At the end of the day, what matters to me is creating work that sparks connection—whether that’s through design, music, or simply collaborating with others who are just as passionate about what they do. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the best creative work happens when you embrace the unknown, challenge the norm, and let your curiosity lead the way.
